We love your stories of supporting charity while running your business. Here Michelle Wicker from Little Rock Employment Law Specialists share’s why Michelle and her daughters are taking part in Race for Life this July.
Hi I’m Michelle and I am an employment lawyer, I’ve been networking for 8 years and this year I’ve decided to take part in race for life which is on 21 July 2019. I’m very excited to do the walk with my daughters as this means a lot to us as a family to raise money for cancer research. Am I ready to do this? Yes I’m ready to do it – we will probably walk most of it with a little jog in between!
I am doing race for life with my 2 gorgeous daughters. As a family we have lost family members to cancer. Also, Francesca, my daughter’s boyfriend was diagnosed last year with stomach cancer at the age of 19 and has had his whole stomach removed. I am doing this for Uncle Alf, Andrew & George.
Cancer is happening right now, which is why I’m taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives.
1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me if you can.
