- Why did you join BWN INsiders?
I have been a member since pre-Covid when Mandie’s online networking was an invaluable part of recovery. I had really enjoyed attending her in-person BWN INsiders networking events and making lots of contacts, and so joining the Insiders seemed a logical next step to build my business.
- What does BWN INsiders do for you?
Personal support and business knowledge. Mandie is generous with her advice and she creates an environment people are happy to share their business challenges as well as successes so that we can all learn.
- What does INsiders do for your business?
Collaboration opportunities, clients and reliable contacts with whom to do business. As well as learning from other people’s business journeys and the conversations in the room – I always come away having learned a nugget I can apply to my own business.
- What does BWN INsiders do for your team/customers?
It means I have support to ensure I offer my clients the best possible service.
- What were you not expecting but got?
The varied format. Mandie adapts the format of the networking meeting to the needs of attendees, market shifts and environment shifts. It is never just the usual 60 second pitches. It comes with questions – questions from other networkers and from Mandie. It ensures people can ask those burning questions so they are clear on what you do as well as giving you some lightbulb moments. The online sessions provide an opportunity to ask for targeted support and advice.
- What would you say to someone not sure about investing £25 a month into BWN INsiders?
It’s not just networking, it’s a community. INsiders is a group of business owners of all shapes and sizes. Imagine the benefits of being part of a group who are happy to give you feedback on your ideas and challenges and cheer you on with your successes.
